I'm Doa, a licensed esthetician, holistic body therapist and lomilomi practitioner on Jeju Island. Simply, an energy caretaker.
I have long been curious about the life of the spirit. On that path, I have learned to embrace life's rises and falls, seeing difficulty not as a burden but as an opportunity, and in time, a blessing.
I trained to survive,
to be healed,
to awaken,
and then to heal.
Awakening has never come to me just once. It arrives again and again, on the mat and within nature. On the mat, I learned from teachers who carry India's traditional yoga lineages, in Nepal, Southeast Asia and North America, and my scattered realizations gathered into a single, grounded core.
In Hawaii, under the guidance of a lomilomi kahuna, a keeper of the Hawaiian spiritual lineage, I was blessed to walk my life as a kahuna, awakening to energy healing through hands, breath and spirit, and to be a shelter for whoever comes my way.
Jeju called me. I came on the wind, flowing like water, to an island where a home seemed already waiting for me. Here, held by the nature that gave birth to this land and breathes life into me, growth unfolds quietly.
Now on Jeju, those seeking healing find their way to me. I walk beside them and bear witness as they trace their own paths back to vitality and inner stillness. It feels like my destiny, and my calling.
I walk beside you as you learn to live:like water, rising and falling, growing clear as it flows;like fire, keeping yourself alight;like air, resting in your breath;like a tree, rooted deep, blooming anew each season;and like no one else, living your own life.
Silent Gathering
Once a month or so, we sit together in silence.
No class, no instruction, yet connected and aligned.
Offline, held in a silently welcoming space.
Online, sitting together under the same sky.
Come quietly, sit, and leave when you're ready.
